my duck has been sitting on her 11 eggs for 22 days now and today it started to rain heavily. i wanted to make sure if the rain would harm the ducklings inside the eggs?...her nest is under a wooden box and she made a nest with dried up grass on a piece of bubble wrap. the rain seeped through the box and reached her. she isnt completely soaked up but i could feel the dried up grass was moist. will this effect the eggs?
P.S the temperature is 30 degree celsius and will reach around 45 after the rain stops so i dont think cold will be a problem.
its the first time my duck got broody
...thanks!
