Does she look ok?

She is 1yr old and not laying. She eats fine and I don't see any evidence of worms. She looks bloated to me. Any ideas?

That pose is common in chickens who are sick and just feel lousy. She is a bit old for coccidiosis, but it can still affect one if they are new to the yard, or if you have added any new chickens recently. Treatment is Corid. Check her crop early morning for impaction--full and hard would be the symptoms. Look for any lice or mites on the skin around the vent. Check with a finger in the vent for being egg bound. Then I might consider worming--you usually can't see them.

I checked her vent area and she is very swelled up...I'm going to give her a warm bath
