Does slow to feather=cockerel?

I have two light brahma babies that are supposed to be pullets. One has way more feathers than the other. They are two weeks old. Do I definitely have a boy? Or could it still be a girl?

No, the feathering speed can't really be used to determine the gender. I think there are some crosses that have slow feathering cockerels and fast feathering pullets.

At 2 weeks either one could end up being a cockerel or pullet.

Feathering doesn't have anything to do with it. Post pics of the comb at 8 weeks.

We are having so much fun! My kids are 9 and 11 years old and they love holding them. We love our chicks.

As posted above, feather growth rate has little to do with gender. Cute babies!
