It's been hot here in the northeast, about 100. My one hen just started laying about a week and half ago and we had another one start on Wed. Haven't had any eggs since Wed, it' now Saturday. Except this morning there was only a yolk, in one box. It's not the same box the other 2 have been laying in, so maybe it's someone else's first egg? Is it normal to have a yolk only egg? And can the extreme heat make them not lay? I also gave them electrolytes yesterday to help with the heat.
