Does the pyritherine (sp?) powder kill lice and mite eggs, too?

That's my opinion, too Mary.. it's just so much easier said than done for me. I watched a youtube video on how to break their neck, tried it, and it didn't work. So now I am just torturing this poor soul. My husband ended up taking care of it for me but this is hard for us. I know we did the right thing but NAIVELY I didn't sign up for this when I got chickens. I am sick about it but I protected the 20 odd chcikens I do have so that is my only consolence. Anybody have a humane way to kill a chicken without having to use my hands or a knife? for the future...
