Hello,
I went to my local feed store to buy some DE. The one they had was this image below from Animed. They said it could be used for chickens. But, I feel like the one I should use is the more powdery one because these are fine granules and I don't know if it will work for dust baths. I see it says the feeding ration so I know it's food grade. Does anyone use this specific one and can it be used for feeding and dust baths?

Once de is wet it doesn't work as for dusting the dust can cause lung issues I personally tried de and it doesn't kill mites/lice or even insects for that matter its a waste of money imo

I use it around the perimeter of my house, keeps bugs out :) I do sprinkle in my enclosure & dust my girls with it, think it's more a deterrent not a "killer". Feeds store people recommend it, keeps bugs out from my house, I'll continue to use it. Yes, careful when dusting not to breath it it. My Girls haven't had any issues, I do rotate dusting them with Poultry Dust and Sevin.

Wood ash is a good deterrent like DE. If you or you know of someone that burns wood use that instead. Free is always better and it's only a deterrent not a killer of pests so in my opinion not worth spending money on. Eventually you'll need permethrin or sevin but we made it over two years on wood ash for dust bath areas before mite outbreak requiring Permethrin10 (10% liquid you mix to .05% concentration).
