Does this egg look fertile?

I don't know of any way to tell if they're fertile the first day, unless you crack it open to see the small dot.

Maybe there is a way and I'm just unaware.

I'd suggest incubate for a few days and candle again to check for veins/development.

You have to crack if open, candling only works when the egg has been incubated for 3-4 days. An egg can stay fertile up to 2-3 weeks (just a guess because thats how long a bullseye stayed after I seperated out a rooster).
