Does this egg look like a quitter?

It’s day 11 for this egg and I can’t tell if this is an incomplete blood ring or what. I don’t really see any other veining and what’s the black dot? The eye? Is it alive in there?

Looks like a blood ring to me... it should be showing way more veins at day 11, I can't tell you for sure but I think you might have lost that one :(

I have seven eggs baking and they all look different than this one. They are all at different stages as well because I started incubating them days apart but all look much more developed- dark shadowing, more veining, bright glowing air cells, etc - than this one. Maybe I’ll check again in a few days just to be sure but I’m thinking same...

Yep, blood ring. I had a couple just like it yesterday. Toss that time bomb.

Tossed it this morning. I definitely don’t want to jeopardize my good eggs. Thanks for the help in determining what to do... I can’t help but wonder what went wrong with this egg but my other are doing well. The oldest one was even rocking back and forth last night (day 15) so that was fun to see. Learning as I go. Thank goodness for this online community!

I know, right!? BYC peeps have helped me immensely, it's like having access to an E-vet at your fingertips! There are no vets here that look at chickens/quail.

I’m a tad worried about this one because the veins aren’t that prominent on day 7 but I think it’s moving unless it’s just coming in and out of view when I move the egg ever so slightly. I have, like I said in the post above, 6 eggs in the Bator (one was a quitter on day 11) at various stages because I staggered the process. All other are doing great but this is my youngest and I don’t know if she’ll make it. Any thoughts out there on my pics? I messed with the contrast and saturation on some pics.
