My wife is concerned when she sees this brown spot on an egg. She won't eat it. Would someone tell me what it is? I suspect it is normal even if it occurs on a very small number of eggs. Thank you in advance.

Meat spot. Pick it out, its fine.
Yep. Get a fork and have some breakfast
Its like, part of the uterine lining or something like that. Hens shed the lining naturally and sometimes a bit gets in an egg.
