Does this goose look older or young?

Does this goose look older or young? She has a mate but the goslings that they hatched this year unfortunately all died so now they're just hanging with some single geese . And not sure why their goslings died either. Anyone know?

She's apparently mature but not ancient. Looks to be in prime condition.

I wonder how you can tell their age. We were thinking she's older because of her eyebrows and she's very little. But how can u usually tell?
