I am incubating chicken eggs and I am on day 21 today and so far have seen no movement heard no chirps and have had no pips. This is the last photo I could find from our candling and it's from day 13. I don't have a picture from my candling on day 18 but I recall it still looking like this but being darker. Does this look normal? Thanks!

Welcome to BackYard Chickens! I, as BirdsBeesTrees, can’t really tell anything from the picture. And you should candle through the air cell, especially with darker eggs, like Marans. On day 13, you should see many veins throughout the egg. If there are no internal pips by day 24, I’d remove the egg. Some eggs hatch as late as day 25. If there is no “rocking” that’s a sign that the chick might be dead.
