Does this look ok?

My Appenzeller Spitzhauben has a weird looking beak. I used warm water on a q-tip and it has a lot of brown residue. Is this normal for this breed?

YES NORMAL!!! Big nostrils normal, coloration normal, NOT TO WORRY! The big nostrils may cause it to sneeze more often than other breeds too, congrats on your Spitzhauben! There's a Spitzhauben thread you might like to check out, lots of pics....

Polish have those big nostrils too. Alarmed me when I 1st saw it emerging on 5 week chick, but then noticed they all looked that way.
