does this look right??? trying for a new breed.....sorta

I decided to breed my two favorite chickens to get a (in my theory) super chicken

they're my 1st and 10th or so chickens i ever got and they're still doing fine
the dad is 'Geraldine' (started out as a rooster....we thought

) and 'Big Momma' a splash Cochin hen. I got a lot of different colors, but i believe I have a black, blue and what might be a splash these are just F1's these pictures are just from my cellphone so they aren't great. and it's been raining so they're a little messy

I think this is some kind of splash

Does it look like I'm on the right track?

Personally, I'm working on a non-laying breed that eats a lot, with extra loud roosters.

I'm trying to get the right blue gene in the birds, but the blue looks too dark and the splash doesn't really look like a splash

you're not lookin for a new breed then. all you need is seek out a strain of blue cochins whose color fits what you're after.

well I'm trying for a new breed but that's pretty ambitious

and I have one older hen from those parents that inspired this whole project she is the "splash" color, I'm just wondering if it will breed true (splashxblack=blue ect.) and if I can get that to work i'll go from there

they're only a month and a half
