Yep, when I saw that pic it looked dead to me - I've had a BCM do the same thing, and sadly died. So of course, last time I had one with zipping troubles, I helped open the egg for it. Lucky I did - Because it was so weak from trying to get out of the egg (also, it was the darkest egg in there. . ) it couldn't stand for hours. Finally, the next morning, it was perfectly healthy!
