pet smart near me sells this same modal for under $300. it`s big and sturdy hopefull it will keep any preditors at bay the top is only $50 more.

Speaking from experience. I bought that run from Petsmart to contain a swan i was rehabbing. the chain link was so twisted and messed up i could never get it on the posts right. I returned it twice and still had the same problem. I ended up selling it for 70 bucks and was happy to be rid of it. But yes size wise it should be okay for 8 birds

it would make a great run, Mine is made with 2x4s and chicken wire and the top is covered with an old herring net which i got for free, i never leave my chickens out overnight and we have 2 dogs out during the day, we havent had any problems yet. we have 12 birds and the run is 8 x 16

I have something similar for temporary/quarantine quarters that I bought from my neighbor for $50. The quality is not good. If you go to TSC or Southern States (and probably other feed/farm/home improvement stores as well since I'm not sure what's in your area) you can acquire a 10x10x6 chain link panel pen for less than $250.00. One of mine from Southern States only cost $189. They are much better quality and a great value for the price. Besides, you can add additional panels later and make your run as big as you would like. Extra panels/pens can frequently be found on Craigslist too.
