My girls are losing feathers on their backs from my rooster. My 2 little EEgers in particular. One has a bare spot now. Will he always be this rough with them? I have 9 hens and just one rooster, all of them have some feather ruffling. Will clipping his toenail help prevent the feather loss, or do I need to get some saddles?
