Hey all!

My family is from Nebraska and have finally started the first steps to owning chickens! My husband, my kids, and I are so excited and ready to learn. The area we live in requires us to join first before we obtain any chicks. So I'm also looking forward to sharing how that goes!

They either require you to join 4H, backyard chickens, or there are a few other groups or organizations they accept. I think backyard chickens is talked about a lot in our area so they list it as a good resource to use.
