Does your black Aussies lay this dark of an egg?? pic

I had no idea that my black aussie would lay such a dark egg. I seen her in the nest box this morning so i took my little seat cushion down off of the wall and sat down on it and watched her, about 20 minutes later i watched her lay the dark egg! The other 2 browns were from my RIR's this morning and the pinkish one is from my EE. I always put the eggs that i collect each day in a bowl and leave them out so i can admire them.

Does anyone elses aussies lay this dark of an egg?

ya thats a normal color. Thats the only color i get out of my chickens ! And they are black aussies

FYI : i keep my fresh eggs in a bowl to and at night i put them in the fridge waiting for the next days eggs LOL
