Hi everyone,

:hit:hitMy Cayuga girl is now 3 months old and she just quacks way too much. every time she hears my voice(when I talk/laugh loud in the house), when the light's on at midnight, when I flush the toilet at night, in the morning (that's the worst!!!!) every time she saw me or saw me with the muscovies....she quacks SOOO LOUD and I simply don't know how to stop her. :he:he:he:sick:sick

If my Runners or Buffs get left behind from not paying attention oh my gosh they start sounding the alarm where are you all. My Muscovy never make a peep. Just the difference between mallard derived and Muscovy. If I sneeze or cough inside with all the windows closed my gander let’s out a holler.

I see... I know they quack and her mother was pretty bad but was never THAT bad.. it’s hysterical... lols

My Rouen quacks loudly a lot as well. She’s merely chatty (squeals of happiness and little satisfied grunting quacks) when foraging, but ever so loud in the AM (I want OUT!) and PM (I don’t want to go IN! You better give me my mealworms NOW!) and whenever her two Muscovy sisters don’t do what she wants them to do (I WANT to go to the stream. COME HERE NOW!). It’s certainly far worse during mating season. I’m currently trying to find her a mallard-derived husband to see if that will help calm her down!
