dog allergy ear issues?

Our 3 year old bichon has really bad skin allergies, worse during flea season. For the last week or so her inner ear ears have a wrinkled appearence a little pink though her ear canal area and looks ok, smells ok and has no swelling/redness/discharge. Could this be because of allergies, my MIL fed my dog some junk dog food I bought as a treat for my rats and her skin has been so bad since. Any ideas for a home cure,she'll see a vet next month for a check up.

I had that with my GSD - stiny ears, only one ear though, the vet ept cleaning it - I bought a tea tree oil ear wash for dogs, and changed him to a grain-free diet - not sure which one - if either - it was - but it definitely cleared up in about two months. I'm not saying this is what happened with your dog, but just an example to explore all options.

She was on a holistic dog food from walmart but I decided to swich her to blue bull w/o chicken(lamb and rice) after this last itchy skin episode, she's cheap to feed though as she only eats one small bag a month.

yes, it is all related. When dogs are having allergy issues the first place you will notice it is the ears.
