My 12 year old dog ate the scrambled eggs I had prepared for my ducks. The eggs contained 3 ml of Durvet Hi-Level Vitamin B Complex. I know this has surely happened to someone else.

She seemed fine before bedtime, but then....I woke up to vomit everywhere. Yep, those eggs that disappeared in a split second yesterday are now all in my bedroom floor. She has also vomited two massive piles of grass outside.

I’m hoping she will be fine, but I’m sure the vitamins were already absorbed into her system, so what do I need to look for?

Thank you for your reply!

She vomited the eggs first, sometime during the night. Then this morning when we let her out, she was able to eat grass and vomit it, three huge amounts now.

Sounds like it gave her quite as he tummy ache.
Grass after eggs means she probably felt ok before the eggs.

Is she acting ok or acting "off"?

She’s asleep right now, which is normal. However, she just asked to go back outside about 20 minutes ago and puked more grass, so I guess she’s still puny.

Whew! I am very thankful. The vet said there would be no lasting side effects since what she ingested was not toxic to dogs. She did say that Zoey may continue to vomit some and that her vomiting most of the eggs last night was the best thing she could have done.

Thank you @21hens-incharge for crossing your fingers, for your kindness and for just ‘being there.’:hugs I appreciate it.

I am super glad she will be ok!!!!

:hugs I have more than my share of dogs who eat stupid stuff.

The latest is the bloodhound who just 6 days after being spayed had emergency surgery because she ate a freaking rock. That makes 12 years and 4 dogs that ate rocks resulting in needing vet help.
Grand total.....11,000 bucks. 😳
