I agree with some here, there are some things I would not do, because they go against my values, but I am not holy enough to judge others, only follow my own conscience.

Sorry about your losses! Been there done that, but fortunatly didn't lose all of them, just most. Do what you think is best for you. But the owners, if known, should be made aware one way or another.
