What a good job you did! I’m so happy for Margo I am dealing with a similar issue on my bird. Forgive me for not reading the entire thread, but were you wrapping her wound? I’ve been wrapping my chicken for fear that she will tear at the delicate flesh that’s coming back in.

I did not wrap it, no. I find that wrapping it causes them to constantly try to remove it. I had no issue with her messing with the wound. As long as your chicken's enclosure is cleaned daily and the wound clear of debris & treated then it should heal in no time. I recommend using puppy pads so there's no "litter" to get in the wound
