My chickens were grazing in the yard when 2 unleashed dogs attacked. Martha was killed instantly, but Ming Ming got away. She appears fine until you look at her bum. She appears to have a prolapse about the size of a golf ball ( I think that is what it is called). There is a little blood, but mostly the tissue just looks dark pink. She is a year old Silkie (a runt to boot) and layed everyday (all winter too, even when the others stopped). We've never had anything like this happen and I don't know where to start or what to do. Any help is greatly appreciated. Our flock was only 5, I don't want to lose 2 today.
