Dog attack - skin turning black

Hi,

We have a chicken that was attacked by a dog and sustained a couple wounds under her wings. It's been almost a week and we've been spraying her wounds with antiseptic. The wounds are dry(not pussy or oozing) but we noticed that the skin around the side of the wounds has turned black. What should be do??

Culd it just be scabs? It kind of sounds like it. I'd probably keep doing what you are doing.
