My husband forgot that our Jack Russell Terrier was still out this morning when he let the chicks out. She jumped on one of our 3 month old Aracauna roosters. She didn't bite him, but he's not really moving a whole lot. We have him in a box in the garage with food and water. He's just kind of laying on his side...earlier he wasn't moving at all, just breathing. Now he's at least moving his head around, but I don't think he's moving his legs at all. I know that shock will kind of paralyze chickens, but does anyone know how long it lasts? Or when we should see more improvement? I want to give the little guy a fair chance, but I don't want him to suffer.
