Yeah! I hope so! Was yours as bad as this?? I've never had a pecking problem with my other hens and this was so bad.

He was missing about a palm-sized area of skin on his tail and the meat was all mangled. Several punctures. No visible bone, though. You can go back through and see his pics.

Wow!! What a beauty! So glad he's ok. Thank you for giving me the hope I needed. I was really afraid they would never get feathers again and forever be pecked at by the others.

Just want to say, after only a week, I see pin feathers starting!! The biggest wound has closed significantly! I had no idea they would heal so fast and I'm so happy. Thank you all for the encouragement! I'll post a pic when they're fully feathered again.
