Our neighbors dog got hold of one of the flock last week and luckily she only lost feathers. Question is how long will it take for her feathers to grow back? Quite a big area of bear skin (lost half of tail feathers up to just under her wing. Should I treat the skin area? She is a Delaware about 11 mths old below is when she was fully feathered LOL.

If it's just feather loss, you don't have to do much. I'd check to see if it was irritated, then maybe slather a little lotion on her.

A few feathers will start growing back, especially if it gets cold out, but most of them will wait until her next moult. Probably this fall, possibly next spring instead.
