Dog Attack!

Glad things worked out OK.

People need to keep their dogs a home, "there first" or not. Contrary to what many folks seem to think, it is not that hard to keep a dog under control. It's called "rope."

We have our dog on a wireless fence with a shock collar. It was tough the first day or so (he's got a lot more guts than smarts), but now he knows where the line is and it never gets him. It is more humane than tying him up because he's free to run, and it works great.

Unfortunately, too many people are too lazy or too misinformed to control their dogs. We get the "They were here first" thing from our neighbors all the time. It reflects badly on the owners, and it's unsafe for the dogs.

Sorry, I have little patience for this sort of thing. There is absolutely no reason for out of control dogs.

that'll be $.02, please.
