Dog Attacked my hen...nursing help please!

I would place her on a clean old towel. You may use paper towels on top of that if you wish to change out as needed. That way nothing will get into the wounds. The Triple Antibiotic Ointment is good for keeping the wound moist and prevention of infection. If it get too goopy hold off on the ointment and just use Vetericyn. Clean the wound and treat it twice a day.
Thank you so much again...
Do you think the skin will grow back on its own with this simple level of care?

Georgette's update...
It looks like wounds are scabbing up nicely. I just don't know if her skin will grow back over her muscle. No signs of maggots thank God!

Update with the attack dog and its owner:
Early this morning my family got up early to do some painting outside. As we were prepping my husband asked me if we could let the chickens out...:thSeriously? Ummm that would be a No! He kind of chuckled and we went on with our work. Not 5 minutes later the 'chicken killer' dog is outside our fence! He immediately says call animal control. I calmly got a dog leash and went out to retrieve him, but he ran down the street towards his home. I saw his owner out looking for him...Does she really not have an inkling where he could possibly be? I saw walking in the opposite direction of our house. She saw me coming with the leash. Anyway, it actually gave me an opportunity to talk with her more (after the fact that now all her neighborhood friends are mad at me!) about the situation. She listened to me and was very apologetic and offered to do anything I wanted. Looking back though, I thought this morning was quite humorous with the dog showing up right after my husband thought we should let the chickens out!
