Dog bite

Miss lazy is doing great she is easy pecking, drinking her water with her electrolytes, i have been cleaning her little tiny wound. And she nibbled on her boiled egg. She is hopping on one leg. I have looked at the leg and no sign up or stress or wound. Maybe a muscle ache from being in my shepherds mouth.
Miss lazy is pooping good also. I hold her rub her head, and she is very calm.
( i have fallen in live with her and she is closer to my heart now) never tell my hubby. Lol
I know this is a hard question, do you think she will use her right leg again? I will take pictures if i can. No damage to the leg , not swollen, has color, she just holds it up close t her body. I can touch it and straighten it out and doesnt bother her.

My poor miss lazy. I call her lazy because my other two hens, daisy and maisy are always running in the coop. Lazy tags behind allot.

I'm glad she is doing well.
As for the leg, time will tell. Hopefully it's just injured/sprained since she can is holding and you can manipulate it.
Give her some B vitamins for leg health. B2 (Riboflavin) is essential. If you can't find a poultry vitamin with B2, then you can crush a human B-Complex tablet (no iron) and add it to her feed.

Miss lazy is walking around and kinda of trying to use her right leg.
How long before I introduce her back to her other two hens in the coop? Will they pick at her bc she is kind of limping and still a little wound exposed with a scab. Which is healing and I'm still cleaning

Are the others the same age? How many are there?

If they are, can you make a "barrier" out of wire (like hardware cloth), put her on one side, this way the others can see her and she them. This will get them used to her again while she continues to heal. It's possible they may pick on her if she is still moving around with some difficulty. Sometimes all goes well, other times not so good,if you just put them back with the group after a separation.
You will have to gauge there behavior.

Her siblings and her are all three are 13 days old. I will place the do crate right up against the back of the coop. Separated but can see each other and then mesh together. Oh thank you for the advice. I love this forums, such nice people

I did put vitamin B with her chick mash. With miss Lazy in the dog crate she is spreading out her wings and standing more . Thank you!

Ms. Lazy is still limping. I have been keeping a close eye on her. Her wounds are healing very nicely.
When she see Sammy bear, she kinda does a loud scream.
Which I would too if a huge big creature tries to get me.
She doesn't mind at all for me picking her up and keeping her wounds cleaned.
She , being miss lazy, is my little problem chick and always will be

I have a question, will she always limp now. She favors her right leg. Which I know I would. It shouldn't effect her growth and laying I hope
