I agree with you Chris, no argument from me here. My mom really wanted a toy poodle. I couldn't find an affordable one up here. Then a friend of mine who has a Bichon told me about the mix and I went and fell in love with the darned dog - Sassy. Name fits her perfectly. Not a chance she will end up in a shelter. My mom has had her for almost 3 years and treats that dog better than she does me.
