Dog eating chicken poop

Ewwww is right.... and you know right after that my 70lb dog wants to crawl in my lap and give me kisses ....double ewww!

My dog has been doing this recently and thought it was probably normal but still gross.

Not to worry, I agree with the other poster. 2 of my dogs like to eat chicken poop, plus cat poop too. Now, that is disgusting!!!

My dog sits and waits for a chicken poo to project beyond the wire....then gulp! I'm glad she's not the only one with this gross habit!

Is it bad for them, sounds like yes and no. No ideas on how to discourage it though.

My boston terrier does it also. She did get sick a while back and had to go on antibiotics. Our vet said it might have been caused by eating the poop.
