Dog eats chicken poop! Yuck!

My dogs like the chicken poop - I have had to divide my yard to keep them away from it. After 5 days of nasty nasty liquid poop and keeping the dogs in the kitchen (linoleum MUCH easier to clean than carpet)...I have built a small fence to keep them out of the chicken area. Too nasty for me to handle.

i have a similar problem, accept my westie mix is addicted to chicken feed. she will get into our shop and tip over a bag of feed.

Our new puppy has already discovered the "kitty crunchies" that the cats so kindly leave for him in that special box they have. Then he gives my DH big BIG kisses.

ETA: I've mentioned to my vet that both the dog we recently lost to cancer and the new pup like chicken poo. She's not concerned.

Our dog hasn't been into the poo much, but likes the feed - but a friend of mine with chickens said her dog will follow the chickens around waiting for droppings - she says her dog must think they are like poo-pez dispensers

My dogs love poop too. Chicken poop, cat poop....and...human poop. My 2 year old still remembers when she was potty training and she accidentally pooped in the living room...our coonhound ran up and ate it before anyone could react. My daughter cried and cried about the doggy eating her poo.

Our Pomeranian loves it, he eats, snuggles with it, and rolls in it. Whenever he gets loose he goes on a poop mission. His favorite thing is to grind it into the sides of his face like warpaint.
I thought I had a dog with a mental issue but I'm glad too see I'm in good company.

my shep/akita/mix loves it! it's grossssssss!! I yell at her every time she does it but it doesn't make a difference.
