Dog Food?

I used to have a few phoenix that free ranged. They would get into the dogs food almost everyday. Both the hens and roo had beautiful feathers. The roos tail was probably almost 4 ft long.

Yes, people feed chickens dog food. Reason it will start them laying eggs and bring up production. Why because it is more protien than layer feeds. It is fed in conjuction but not as a sole source.

my dogs eat cat food, dog food, ferret food

they are egg eaters too i have seen them steal them from the nest when i am cleaning

my cats eat dog food, cat food ferret food

my Ferret eats cat food, dog food, and ferret food

my chickens eat dog food cat food ferret food bugs and what ever else they can find ooo and chicken layer food too and people food

all my animals are happy and healthy...

the moral of my story is everything in moderation thats just IMHO

I wouldn't even give dog food to my dogs much less to animals that create food for us.

My cats still eat kibble because one is 19 and the other is 12 and they refuse to switch. I would love to feed them raw, but they will have none of that nonsense. I give them Innova EVO, CORE Wilderness, BG (Before Grains), or Taste of the Wild.
All of these are grain free and high protein.

The ducks LOVE it and I give it to them as a treat.​

but if your cats eat to much dog/ ferret food, they will go blind...
if your ferret eats to much dog food, they will get skinny and have kidney problems..
if your dog eats to much cat food, it will get fat and blow-out its kidneys..
if the chickens eat to much dog food..... i am sure all its feathers will fall out:cd hahahahah
if i eat to much chocolate cake, i will get fat and explode and get diabetes

so YES everything in MODERATION!!!!

Our chickens steal the dogs food when they can. I started putting it in his house because he would cover it with dirts to try and hide it from the chickens! Now he covers it with the straw in his house. They still get it. I have seen him corner one in his house, good thing he does not like to eat chicken!
