Dog house tractor coop

OOPS ! Yes that is 1/2 Inch hardware cloth on the run that I built. I bought the 24 inch roll at 10 feet and it went all around the run in one piece. I think it was $9 at my AG store.

That is a very good looking Coop! I was wondering about using cedar boards? I have read that cedar can be toxic to chickens. Has anybody had any problems with cedar and chickens?

Yes cedar chips can be harmful to your chickens especially the aromatic kind that everyone usually thinks of. Western cedar is slightly aromatic, but is used for all kinds of building products instead of pressure treated lumber, it is very weather resistant and will really not rot out like regular pine wood. Do a search on Cedar in the coop section..you will find TONS of coops made of cedar.....and their birds are still alive with no issues.
