I have a small bag of dog kibble that is a brand I no longer feed my dogs. Can I give it to my ducks? Or my friends chickens? It’s a fish based kibble if that matters.

I've fed cat food to ducks and geese as a protein supplement for decades. I stick with the cheaper Purina brands, though, because I once opened an off-brand bag of cat food and it smelled rancid. Mostly I've used Kit & Kaboodle, Friskies Seafood Sensations and Indoor Cat Chow. The first two are really high on grains and low on meat protein, the best type for birds, in my opinion. What about cat food?
Why would the shape matter unless it's much bigger?Get the kind of dog or cat food that is shaped like little fish. The kind shaped like little bones will get stuck in their throat
Us humans do some weird stuff.
But, yeah, the,ducks'll love it.
mine wont eat it or at least not alot of itWhat about cat food?
