Sierra limped back to the den to lick her many wounds. She was badly injured.

Fral answered. "We find more members. Then when we outnumber them, we strike when we are able. But we must wait until we have recovered, and trained for a while. The Alpha pack has nothing against killing. Most of us wouldn't kill unless we have to. Well, we have to." Then it was silent.

Sierra lay down weakly. It was hard to know that they would be fighting the other pack, but them kidnapping the Odat leader was an act of war. The attack that day sealed the deal.
The peace they used to have in their forest was over. They could no longer afford to be merciful.
She looked at Fral and curled her lip. "I say we get the new members and take the Alpha pack down for good!"

Lorcan and Wiley had heard the sounds of the fight from afar off and they decided to head towards the scuffle.
"I know it may be a mistake," Lorcan told Wiley as they loped towards the wolves, "but there may be something we can do to help."
Wiley nodded his agreement.
