Delilah ran up to Rain's cave. She started digging. Rain became alert. "They're coming for me!" She thought. When she saw Delilah, she breathed a sigh of relief.

Lorcan and Wiley had heard the sounds of the fight from afar off and they decided to head towards the scuffle.
"I know it may be a mistake," Lorcan told Wiley as they loped towards the wolves, "but there may be something we can do to help."
Wiley nodded his agreement.

Catir had been trailing the two dogs for a while. When they turned towards her home, she crept closer. Part of her wanted to attack them. She knew they would be no match for her fighting skills, but she had heard Lorcan say he wanted to help, so maybe they weren't all bad.
She would wait and see.
