This is Maggie. She is a mutt and 6 years old. Her personality is VERY funny and loving. On my birthday 2 years ago I found my cat as a wild kitten 2 weeks old needing milk so we had to feed him with replacement milk and all just after my other kitty got put down and Maggie took to it as her own and guarded him and cleaned and took care of him. She also would watch him. She wondered onto my property at about a year and she was a mess. She was a stray and in the country the vet said she had had puppies at almost a year just before she came to our property and had lost them to guessing coyotes. When she came it was a sad sight she was limping and covered in scratches and marks. My other dog tucker was barking and we looked out they were trying to play through the fence. It was while I was home sick with mom and my little sis was at school. She lets you do anything to her but her legs are sensitive still and she sqeeks if you ar not carful but is the cutest mot friendly dog ever. When my sis came home from school she got surprised with her. Maggie is a happy girl now
My last but not least boy is Tucker! He is a pit bull Queensland mix. He is a big marshmallow. We found him at one of the adoption days at tractor supply. He was in a cage at 1 with his litter mates all Sad at the back so we couldn’t resist. Since he would not walk we actually put him in a shopping cart and took
him around the store. I squeaked a toy and he lit up a little. So we took him home and he was overwhelmed with happiness when he got let out. A few years ago him and another dog that had been my moms dog since before I was born and was how she met my dad but that’s a different story..... they got poisoned and only tucker barely made it the other one did not sadly. But he made it and is now extremely wonderful. I LOVE TUCK TUCK!!!!!!!( nickname)
Personality: Weird typical Shar Pei... She’s lovely, a real family dog, super protective yet an absolute wuss. Always mouthing you when she’s playing or wanting a cuddle, loves playing with her toys but she never damages them. Thinks the chickens want to play but she doesn’t realise they don’t want to play with her. Makes some odd noises. Knows how to make you feel sorry for her and can play her humans well. We’ve diagnosed her with a serious case of selective hearing!
Well since this thread has been dug up and I wasn't here for round 1....
This is my Hammer. Short for his registered name. He also goes by Sledge.
Age: 9 (photos at different ages - my boy is an old grey man now)
Personality: Potato with legs. Only enough brain cells to sustain breathing and eating. Loves everyone and everything. Scared of his own shadow. Scooby Doo... He's Scooby Doo.
This is my Athena, we've had her since she was 4 months old.
Age: She's around five or six, we got her before I got chickens.
Personality: She's really loyal and a great guard dog- she literally won't let my mom touch the hens and she'll comfort you when your sad. She's really smart and for some reason her favorite food is apples..?
She will jump up onto the chairs to get onto the table to lick our dishes if we forget to put them away. Scared of balloons. (I really have no idea why.)
Breed: The vet says she's half German Shepard, half terrier mix. She was so tiny as a puppy that she could fit under the couch
