Chickens are inside, in utility room. This is the dogs bedroom. We just have them seperated. Went in to check on everyone this morning and one of the australorps got out. ...This was first time the dog has been around her unattended. Thankfully, the dog has been nurturing. The chicken was snuggled up to the dog, probably cold. Dog decided she must needed a bath... Her head was soaked.

I'm so glad he wasn't mean to her. He has never been around other animals besides cats and other dogs. He has bitten people, so i always thought of him kind of asshole. He is very protective of the family, so maybe he understands they are here to stay.

I have a feeling i might have to get another dog for him. He is rambunctious and when the chickens get older, i am afraid he will want to play and be ruff with them.
