No quarantine. He comes from the same owner as Leonard and half this flock is related to him. Shad will probably give me what for but I deemed the risks very low. He does have scaley leg mite ~ all the booted bantams had it when they arrived. I've got most of it under control though the vaseline is making a mess of everyone. He was dusted before joing the girls as I'm still battling stick flea ~ more vaseline. I've never had this before & it's a pain!

Henry went in with the girls after dark last night. No fuss, no bother this morning. The girls seem quite happy to have him around though only Chavi has squatted for him & she made him work his socks off for the privilege!

Nice looking fella! How's he settling in?

Accepted well. He's still young, about 6 months but he has beautiful manners & has been tit-biting like mad all morning with little luck. The girls seem happy to have a man about the place again though chary of squatting for him as yet.

Wow - he is all golden! Gorgeous.

He has a wonderful iridescent green tail. I will try for pictures later.

I lost Leonard this afternoon.
I had him up @ the house to treat him for stick flea when he began convulsing & died in my arms.
I couldn't have asked for a better rooster. His girls will miss him.
