Yes, definitely, dainerra. I was just saying that it shouldn't be as hard,or at least hoping, since they are used to them. And I wouldn't let ANY dog off leash around my poultry until I knew what would happen. And as for our previous Border Collie, she was there when they were chicks, so learned quickly, and before there was the temptation of a running chicken, they were mine. Plus, I'm hoping that if the dog I get has a strong herding instinct, it would be easier to channel, like with Riley (previous BC)

She attacked the cat, so we got rid of her. That may sound harsh, but she only did it when my back was turned, so I didn't feel like I could trust her.
