My condolences on your babies. Don't beat yourself up over it just learn from it.

Good advice. Definitely keep going forward. New babies will be here this coming week, expected ship date is Monday unless is gets revised.

2nd little flock of chicks arrived today. I ordered from Backyard Chickens. Requesting 4 chicks all sexed pullets, receive 6 and hoping the extra 2 are not roosters. They are so cute and tiny, all active, noisy and immediately started eating and drinking, so far apparently healthy. I've sent an email off re: the sex of the 2 extras, if I don't hear back I will call them.
