Dogs are leaving

minimum order 25.00 beats getting 25 at a time

Correct. And with the weather we are having in this part of the country, I'm sure less than 25 would make it just fine.

Plus Kitt, if it is possible for you to travel up here I'll give you some chicks. You've always wanted an Impy, remember?

I'd love to but I can't get over there. Someone has to take care of everything here. I know I can order less than 25 but my logic is, her son cost me 2 flocks. So I just added them together. And if she has to pay 100 for chicks maybe she will get the idea...my house my rules.

Thanks everyone.

I have over 6 acres. All fenced and cross fenced. I have dogs. They will not bother chickens. My puppies has been raised from days old (i bottle raised them) with goats, birds, llamas etc. (all other bottle babies too mostly). I train my dogs. I spend hours on my dogs and training. I even trained my cat. Call me obsessed with being the "alpha" but everything I have comes when called and respects my space. Even the goats.

Mil's dogs/cats have no rules, boundries or anything. They will not come when called once. This isn't the first time we have gotten into it over her "pets". With as much land as I have, I should be able to let my birds free range in an area. This is just over the top for me. The darn dogs had bodies and parts everywhere. There was no need for it. They have food. They didn't need to kill. And to be honest...I don't think she will miss these dogs. She has 5 more.

that were in the house when this happened.

The problem is getting her dogs.( These 3 anyway) They come when they feel like it and don't have much do to with people unless its' food time. So that is a problem. But I also have an equalizer for that little problem. And at this point, I don't care. I have had to patch up both my roos from them fighting the dogs. They are now also in a crate so I can care for their legs and other injuries.

Good news is I thought my OEG was dead but she must have been knocked out. She is hurt but I done what I can for her and she is comfy in a crate in my room with the TV on. ( Yes Grit this is the one who loves to come in the house to lay eggs and crash on the couch lol)

Thank goodness I made my grow out pen like Fort Knox.

Oh man, ya know if it were me, - don't care whos dogs they were, the dogs would've been taken care of with a rifle or gone to the pound in .05 seconds. - kill my chickens and they are gone, dead, something....lol... My house, my yard, my birds, my rules. Thats it. I have tolerance for it, my neighbor learned when I took a pot shot at one of his hunting dogs that were chasing my chickens when the neighbor was looking. He learned that i wasn't joking about protecting whats mine, cause the dog had been loose for 2 days and the third time it came in my yard and chased the birds. Neighbor was sitting over there on his butt not doing a darn thing. Hollered at him to come get the dog. "Yeah I will" (this was 2nd time (1st time that day)) dog came back, I had the rifle and the neighbor realized what I was about to do so he starts to holler at me, - "HEY HEY".... Jessy?? :*aim*... *POW* popped the tree right by the dogs head, dog and owner got the idea. "Next time I won't miss on purpose, you got that?" - he gets his hunting dogs put up quick when they get loose or after they return from a run quick fast and in a hurry

- I hate being mean, but sometimes you gotta be to get the message across to some people.

Don't know your exact situation, but I'm sorry for your loss, and definately get rid of those dogs.

I understand what you are talking about. I don't like being mean either but my daughter went to pick up this dog and it tried to bite her several times. So I have to wait until FIL get back.
