Wel, I cut some hibicus branches and stripped the leaves an soft stems. Did a bit better than the spanish moss. I have a ceramic egg and put that in the nest box...they were all very interested and I thought one might even try to sit on it: didnt happen! Guess my girls are not going to be broody. That's okay since they have no rooster...
I do want to try the grass clippings, though. Yard was mown this morning so I need to see if there is anything worth picking up once it dries out. Doesnt look like though.
