Hi everyone! I'm from North Little Rock Arkansas. I live in the city limits, but there are a lot of us along my road that have backyard birds. Although I had many ducks and chickens as a child, I'm just now planning to get back to my chickens! Right now I'm planning to build my own small coop - I'm just going to begin with 3 hens, I think - and then we'll see how it goes. Chickens bring me a crazy peace, and I don't know what it is. I am sure glad there are so many out there! What an impressive group!

I have 1 husband, three kids, a dog, cat, and a huge back yard (almost an acre) wooded and ready for some feathery friends.

I know what you mean about the crazy peace that chickens provide.

I greatly enjoy just sitting out there with my chickens!

Welcome from Colorado! I got my first chickens this summer, and I totally understand what you're saying about them being so peaceful! I find them much cheaper than therapy! Enjoy them when you get them!
