What do I do when it reaches 75%?

I have the humidity monitor in the baggie with a bottle cap that has the salt and water in it, hope it is enough water, few drops looks like wet sand?

It is sitting in our dining room on the table with the bator and the temp on it is reading 68* (the room temp I guess) and the humidity is 62%. I don't think it is going to take it long (24 hour period) to reach 75%, since it has only been in the bag for about 3 hours now and it was like 37 or 38% when I put it in there.

You need to leave it for 8-12 hours until it stabilizes. Then see what it reads.

If you take it out when it "reaches" 75%, you'll never know if it was going to eventually read higher.

Just be patient.

What do I do if this digital humidity monotor DOES NOT reach 75%??

I know it is suppose to be meassuring the humidity in the baggie, but what about the temp? Is it measuring the temp in the bag or in our house? Should I have it in a different place?

Then you take into account how much it is off so you can add or subtract % so you know what you are at.

So say it says its 60% You know that 60% is really your 75% it just reads low
As if it says 90% you know that at 90% if actually your 75% and it reads high.

Okay.

Now since I put that last post up the humidity was at 66% and now almost 20 minutes later it is 67%, should I just leave it a while longer??

Has been in the bag for about 21 hours, put it yesterday at about 3:00 PM.

Okay, I am putting it back in the bator and we'll see what happens.
