  1. We have had bantam chickens once several years ago but only for a few months. My parents bought some chicks last year for laying eggs and my oldest daughter got interested in them (along with any other animal she comes in contact with, LOL) and so this year we picked up some at the local TSC during chick days and since she got an incubator for xmas from her grandparents, she also tried out a hatch (only 2 out of 12 actually hatched but she's game to try again!)
  2. We currently have 5 FULL SIZE chickens: 2 cinnamon queens, a golden comet, and 2 RIR/barred rock crosses. We also have 7 BANTAMS: 1 barred rock, 4 red cochins, 1 porcelain d'uccle and a possible Dutch or Old English.
  3. We came across this site when looking up answers about care, hatching, etc and it seems exceedingly useful.
