Dolly and the mouse (pest control)

YES exactly! Just remember where you put it and keep the grass/ plants trimmed around it.. I think ours are completely overgrown and lost in the garden (we are like that)....Or the solar wont work if the light is blocked....

So you 'plant' the whole thing in the ground except the solar panel flush with the surface?

We have heavy clay so I am not sure it will work :/

Pretty much, just pre drill a guide hole and then push the stake in!

Putting away their food has worked for us so far. The only time we have had a mouse is when we didn't have chickens (made a home in our garage).

Yes we have had a couple in our garden for the last 2 years. But honestly I gave up on the garden (its totally abandoned) after the building went up to 6 dogs and noone was picking up the poop....(A discussion for another forum...)
I got them for the Moles, not mice... and we still have mice in the garage... (But not so much since we got rid of the birdseed that was stored there).. But the garage is not that close to the garden, but have seen the occasional mouse above ground (it vibrates in the ground)...
